An update from Lakeside Village

To all our wonderful customers,
Following the announcement from the Government we now know that the plans to reopen all retail will be implemented at some point in April.
What this means for Lakeside Village is that the stores that have been open throughout as essential shops – GrapeTree, Holland and Barrett and B&M will remain open, our drive thru food and drink outlets will remain open, and the rest of the centre – including our centre facilities and our outdoor play area is getting ready to reopen in April, in line with government guidance.
We have really missed you and the staff in our shops will be ready to welcome you back to the centre in a safe and socially distanced way. You, our shoppers, help to make the centre the wonderful place that it is.
When we reopened after the last lockdown, we put in place lots of additional measures so that you could come and visit us and feel safe when you shopped. These measures will remain in place, one-way systems, queuing areas outside several shops, limited people allowed in each shop at any time, extra hand sanitising stations around the centre, face coverings must be worn in stores and our fabulous cleaning team will be out and about across the centre.
We will continue to review these measures and welcome feedback from you when you visit Lakeside Village again.
While the centre has been partially closed, we have continued to work with the local community and have had the Health Bus visit us and have provided a unit, free of charge, to enable the NHS to catch up on school vaccines for children in the local area.
We’ve also launched our charity of the year for 2021 and are proud to be raising money for Guide Dogs this year. When it is safe to do so we look forward to welcoming the team, and hopefully some of the amazing dogs to visit us.
We’ll all be busy now working towards reopening and look forward to seeing you back at Lakeside Village in April when we are allowed to reopen.
