At Lakeside Village, minimising our environmental impact is something we are passionate about.

Customers at the Doncaster shopping outlet will be able to drop off an array of items to the freshly designed Green collection point located in Guest Services.

We have a proud history of recycling here at the centre and our customers never let us down with their generosity and kindness. We know our customers will donate generously to help all the charities involved as well as doing their bit for the environment by reusing and recycling.

Pre-loved items	Bring any unwanted clothes, shoes and toys to the centre which will then be donated to RSPCA Doncaster Rotherham District Branch shops.	Saleable items are sold in their stores to help raise money.
Bras	Unwanted wearable bras	Against Breast Cancer work with recycling partners, and textile recovery projects your donations prevent bras from going into landfills by giving them a new lease of life in countries such as Togo, Ghana and Kenya, where bras remain expensive to produce locally.
Unused toiletries & household products	Haircare products, nailcare, toilet roll, tissues, washing up liquid, sanitary pads, giftsets, nappies & pull ups, baby wipes, etc.	Your donations of unused toiletries and household products are distributed through Changing Lives’ Doncaster hub to support individuals and families in need. They help people facing difficult times by providing essential items as part of wider support services.
Batteries	Take your household batteries: 6v, D, C, AA, AAA & Button to M&S Outlet to recycle.	Materials held within batteries can be recovered and reused.
Bedding	Any used bedding, sheets, towels and knitted blankets.	Given to the local Doncaster RSPCA to keep dogs nice and cosy in the cold months.
Pre-loved Clothes	Let’s Shwop, bring your pre-loved clothes into M&S Outlet.	All donated items are resold, re-used or recycled, so absolutely nothing goes to waste.
Electrical, electronic or battery-operated item	When you replace a new electrical, electronic or battery-operated item with a new one from Next Outlet, simply bring the old item into store within 28 days, show us your receipt for its replacement and we’ll do the rest.	The materials from recycled electricals can be used in everything from children’s playgrounds to lifesaving equipment, while donated tech can help bridge the digital divide.
Next Plastic Packaging Recycling Facilities	Take your plastic Next packaging & bags to our Next Outlet & put it in the specialised bin facility, or ask a member of staff to help.	Plastic Next packaging will be reused & recycled to package other items.
