Lakeside Village’s loos sparkle with glittering award!

Lakeside Village has once again received national recognition for its gleaming toilet facilities.
At the annual Loo of the Year awards 2019, Doncaster’s leading retail outlet walked away with the top Diamond classification for its exceptionally clean and well-looked after toilets.
For 2019, award organisers introduced the new Diamond Award, which joined the existing Silver, Gold and Platinum Loo of the Year Awards grades, as the highest and most prestigious award available to washroom providers, their cleaners and maintainers. This award focuses on the highest standards of cleaning, special facilities for babies, children and those who need Changing Places or Space to Change toilet facilities – the provision of facilities to meet all user’s needs.
Di Rodgers, centre manager of Lakeside Village, said: “We are so pleased to have been recognised once again at the Loo of the Year awards and this time with the highest and most prestigious Diamond status for our facilities.
 “We have invested in our toilet, changing places and baby changing facilities and our cleaning team take great pride in ensuring that these facilities are second to none. We put a lot of effort into ensuring our centre is accessible for all our shoppers and we will continue to work as hard as possible to enhance the facilities we have on offer here at the centre wherever possible.”
The facilities at Lakeside Village include a changing places facility, which means that anyone visiting the centre who cannot use standard access toilets can access the facilities they need in safety and comfort. The changing places facility has more space and equipment including a height adjustable changing bench, sink and a hoist.
