With just five days to go until Christmas, Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping is getting shoppers into the festive spirit with Christmas choirs and visits to Santa.
All this week, from Monday, 20 December to Thursday, 23 December between 11am and 4pm, young visitors will be able to get their last-minute Christmas requests in, as Santa will be at the centre everyday with his cheeky elf and friendly nutcracker soldier.
You can find Father Christmas, ready for photos and handing out chocolate treats, in his magical snow globe outside Clarks shoes.
Santa will also make one last visit on Christmas Eve, from 11am to 3pm, before heading off to deliver gifts around the world. There’s no need to book, just have your list of presents ready and make sure you’re on his nice list!
Also, at the centre this week is an array of fabulously festive musical entertainment. Doncaster’s Youth Swing Orchestra will play Christmas classics, a mariachi band will be belting out festive tunes and Victorian Carol Singers will perform traditional songs.
Why not enjoy the carols over a coffee? Find a seat and treat yourself to a brew from Costa’s Christmas menu. Sip on a Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate, a Quality Street Toffee Penny Latte or a classic gingerbread latte. You can also indulge in a range of tasty cakes, tarts and mince pies. It is Christmas, after all!
There’s plenty of time to get those last-minute gifts, too. The centre will be open until 7pm on Wednesday, 22 and Thursday, 23 December to make sure you can grab those final presents.
Treat them to a make-up set from The Beauty Outlet or a perfume or aftershave gift set from The Fragrance Shop.
Head to The Body Shop for luxurious pampering packs that include festive body butters and shower gels.
Grab craft kits, stationery, toys and games for the kids at The Works – or best-selling cook books, celebrity autobiographies and puzzle books for the grown-ups.
