The Body Shop’s Shea Butter is handcrafted in Northern Ghana by the Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association who have been using Shea Butter to intensely nourish skin for generations.
It takes one woman 2 days and 18 different stages to handcraft to perfection 25kg of Shea Butter, which is used in over 250 products at The Body Shop! The Community Fair Trade partnership helps to fund: 7 Schools, 1 Health Care Centre, 1 Nutrition Centre.
