We’ve listened to your comments about Car Parking

CUSTOMERS come first at Lakeside Village and that is the case when it comes to free parking at our centre.
 
We know you love the free parking and we love being able to offer it. To help protect this we have put in place an agreement with a company who will ensure that only Lakeside Village shoppers are using the parking facilities.
Free parking at Lakeside Village will remain a perk for our shoppers – Over the last few months we’ve had a number of comments from customers who were concerned that some people have been abusing the free parking and taking up spaces or parking on grass  verges and then leaving the centre on foot, sometimes leaving their cars for hours at a time.
We know how annoying this can be particularly busy times trying to find a space. We want to put a stop to this and we’ve listened to your concerns.
Enforcement officers will now patrol the car park and anyone seen to be parking and leaving the site could be given a ticket. They will also ensure that people are only parking in the clearly designated parking bays.
We also feel that it is our duty to help our customers who require a parking bay closer to the entrances, the enforcement team will  be in operation to ensure that only blue badge holders use this area. These bays are clearly marked and have been designated for blue badge holders to make their shopping trip as easy as possible.
We know the free parking is one of the things our customers love about shopping at Lakeside Village and for genuine visitors to the centre this will remain in place.  The size of our car park means that we simply cannot accommodate parking from non-shoppers.
Parking at Lakeside Village is free for shoppers who aren’t parking and then leaving the site on foot, and we want to keep our valued customers happy by making sure that there are spaces for them to park whenever they choose to visit the centre.
Non-shoppers please take note – the free parking at Lakeside Village is not for you. You could get a ticket if you are using our car park and leaving site. Please find an alternative place to park. Our car parking is for our customers.
