The TOG24 brand was created by Donald Ward in 1958, in the town of Heckmondwike in West Yorkshire. His previous experience working with the textile industry in the local area meant he knew enough to start his own business. The company began to produce sports and leisure footwear, which then branched into football strips, eventually choosing to produce outdoor clothing like waterproof jackets and fleeces.
TOG24 stands for “Truth Over Glory Everyday”. We aren’t for the people who do solitary & extreme sports, we make products to help people access the real outdoors together. Whether you’re walking the dog, meeting up with friends for walk or having a ski holiday with family. This is our truth.
The company is a product of the area it was founded in, we do things properly, deal with people honestly and try to make products that are durable and well priced. Unfortunately we don’t manufacture items in the UK anymore but all products are still designed in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire. We are still family owned and operated by Donald’s grandsons.
We started selling our items from our original factory shop in Heckmondwike, since then we have set up more than 50 outlets across the UK & Ireland.
