Lakeside Village is full of Festive Fun this weekend.
And Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a visit from Santa who is back in his homely grotto in an eye-catching log cabin located near Etto Caffe, creating an ideal ‘Father Christmas’ photo opportunity for all young visitors. The Santa’s Grotto is free with no booking required but a £2 donation is being recommended which will go towards Lakeside Village’s Charity of the Year, Doncaster Mind. Each child will also receive a small gift.
The grotto will be open from Saturday 17 December from 11am until 4pm (Santa will be away feeding the reindeer between 1pm and 1.30pm).
A special post box is onsite allowing children to post their must-have Christmas lists straight to the North Pole.
Look out for the Festive stilt walkers who will be posing for pictures from 11am.
Our Christmas trail is just for fun, collect your entry form from guest services and see if you can find the answers around the centre.
On Saturday 17 December, our festive Carol singers will perform 4 x 20 min sets from 11am. Doncaster Mind will be in a marquee near Etto, why not pop in and enjoy some mindful crafting to make the mental elf.
On Sunday 18 December, Cosmic 21 will give 2 performances starting at 2pm and 3pm. Look out for our ballerina in a bauble and the stilt walking nut cracker soldier, share your picture with us on social using #LVDoncaster.
