Lakeside in the Community
Quarterly Litter Picks
As part of our wider sustainability efforts, we proudly organise quarterly litter picks, where our team steps out of the office for an hour to help make a visible difference in our local environment.
Suppliers and tenants often join our staff, who are just as passionate about giving back. It’s a great way to raise community spirit, promote environmental responsibility, and keep our space looking its best for shoppers and wildlife alike.
Monthly RSPCA Collections
We host RSPCA donation days on the last Saturday of the month (except December) from 10am to 2pm. Visitors can drop off pre-loved items which go to RSPCA charity shops to help raise vital funds for animal rescue and care.

Charity Collections
Throughout the year, we’re proud to welcome a variety of charity stalls to Lakeside Village, offering visitors the chance to learn more about meaningful causes and support them directly. From national organisations to local groups, these stalls raise awareness, collect donations, and sell items to fund their vital work. Recent charities welcomed to the centre include:

Health Services
We’re committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our visitors and local residents. Throughout the year, we welcome a range of mobile health services and NHS partners to the centre, providing accessible healthcare right on your doorstep. These visits offer a convenient way to access important check-ups, screenings, advice, and support – no appointments or long travel times required. Recent services hosted include:

- Primary Care Doncaster’s Health Van – offering blood pressure checks, health advice, and smear tests

- The NHS Health Bus – delivering community vaccinations and general health support

- Alliance Medical’s Lung Health Check Unit – providing early screening and CT scans for at-risk individuals
