Christmas 2024 is officially up and running at Lakeside Village with the centre transformed into a winter wonderland displaying a wide range of Christmas decorations, sparkly lights and special installations across the centre.

Santa’s Igloo
Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a visit from Santa who is back in his snowy igloo located in the Winter Green, creating an ideal ‘Father Christmas’ photo opportunity for all young visitors.
Santa’s Igloo is free with no booking required but a £3 donation is being recommended which will be used by Wild Life Foundation to save animals and improve their welfare.
The Santa queue may close earlier than the advertised Santa visiting hours This is to help Santa leave on time at the end of his visit to get home to feed the reindeers. Please not that Lakeside Village reserve the right to close the queue for Santa once capacity for the event has been reached.

Spot the Sleeping Polar Bears
The Yorkshire Wildlife Park Polar Bears are taking over Lakeside Village and have been spotted sleeping in the shop windows. Just for fun, can you name which polar bear is sleeping in which store?
Pick up a leaflet in Guest Services or in the Polar Post Office and head round the centre to find the sleeping polar bears.
