We are excited to announce a new partnership between Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping and Yorkshire Wildlife Park, bringing a summer filled with animal-themed activities to the centre.
Visitors can look forward to an array of engaging free family fun events from July 22.
Throughout the school holidays, Lakeside Village will host Wildlife Discovery, with a trail through the centre and a series of weekly activities featuring different animal themes.
Children can enjoy crafts, workshops, and story time sessions, each focusing on the animal of the week.. From the majestic lion to the playful polar bear, there’s something to capture everyone’s imagination.
Abby Chandler, deputy centre manager said:
“We are thrilled to be working with Yorkshire Wildlife Park this year. As part of our partnership, we’ve installed an animal trail around the centre and customers will be invited to find the big six animals – Rhino, Zebra, Tiger, Lion, Giraffe, and Polar Bear. Our Village Green has also been revamped with animal-themed seating, perfect for social media snaps.”

- Cheeky Monkey Crazy Golf: Back by popular demand, this fun course is perfect for a friendly family competition
- Free Summer Cinema: Every Thursday in August, enjoy animal-themed films at 2pm and 5pm.
- Man Beast Yorkshire’s Strongest Man and Strongest Woman 2024: On 27 July, enjoy the return of this exciting competition with awesome feats of strength on display
