Third Pupdate

Bingo has been making lovely progress with his training and that he’s mostly doing all that’s expected of a pup of his age.

Bingo’s lead work is now of a very high standard, and he doesn’t really pull but he does walk at a fast pace. When in shops and supermarkets, Bingo seems to know that he needs to stay focused and does very well. He copes brilliantly with busy situations and is also happy to settle in a café or when Vhairi takes him to church.

Vhairi told us that Bingo is great at using public transport and recently attended a hospital appointment with her, which was a 40-minute bus journey away. He was great on the bus and very patient in the waiting room – the appointments were running one hour behind, so it was a long wait, but Bingo was impeccably behaved. He was also very good on the bus on the way home, which was packed, and Vhairi said he brought a smile to lots of people’s faces that day.

Bingo has grown into a really calm dog and is very friendly with both humans and other dogs. He’s great at reading other dogs’ body language and will leave them alone if he senses they’re not willing to play with him. Vhairi said that Bingo loves water and will splash in any water he sees when on a free run, and often comes home very muddy! At home, cheeky Bingo has learnt how to open the stair gate and is often found on the landing with a ‘look at me’ smile on his face, knowing full well that he shouldn’t be up there!

Vhairi said that Bingo really has ‘no fear’ and takes on every new challenge without a second thought. We hope you have enjoyed Bingo’s latest pupdate and following him through the puppy raising stage of his training. We will be in touch again soon to celebrate Bingo’s birthday with you, and we’ll also let you know when he’s made the move to ‘big school.’
