Christmas has officially landed at Lakeside Village Shopping Outlet, with late night shopping under our sparkling decorations making a return, festive fashion in every store and a very special guest arriving this week.
Christmas party season is upon us and, after missing out last year, Lakeside Village is here to make sure you truly celebrate in style. You’ll not be short of outfit inspiration at Lakeside Village. Head to the Next Outlet for a range of big-name brands at discount prices or discover sparkly and sequinned dresses at Roman. There are shimmering skirts and tops at BonMarche, while Klass has lots of affordable, feminine festive fashion. You’ll also find plenty of pretty accessories to match.
Finish your outfit perfectly with a pop of lipstick or sweep of eyeshadow from Beauty Outlet, which stocks all your favourite brands, including Elizabeth Arden, Max Factor, Revlon and Rimmel London. And, if you fancy indulging in a beauty treatment this Christmas, Sandy’s offers eye-opening lash lifts and threading for the perfect face-framing brows.
If you’re in need of a new pair of shoes, Clarks or Pavers can help you to step out in style – whether that’s a pair of elegant heels or some sturdy winter boots.
If cosying up with a festive film is on your December to-do list, shoppers can head to M & S where they’ll find a range of comfy Christmas pyjamas for the whole family with seasonal slogans or classic wintry prints.
Shopped until you’ve dropped or fancy a Christmas catch up with friends? Why not pop by to Costa after a walk around the centre and treat yourself to a festive hot chocolate or a warming latte? The seasonal menu has plenty to choose from, including Terry’s Chocolate orange and After Eight hot chocolates and Purple One lattes – plus all the Costa classics. There’s also range of sweet treats for everyone. It is Christmas, after all!
Lakeside Village also has some very special guests arriving this week.
The centre will welcome Santa this Saturday, December 4. Young shoppers are invited to head down to his snow globe outside Clarks with their wish lists, where they can have their photo taken and pick up a tasty chocolate treat. Father Christmas’ friendly nutcracker soldier and jolly elf will be around, too!
Santa will be sticking around every weekend in December. Visits will be available from 11am until 4pm on weekends and from Monday, December 20 to Thursday, December 23. He’ll also be there on Christmas Eve from 11am to 3pm, before heading off to deliver everyone’s presents. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day.
We’re also helping to start December off with a bang with our Christmas family photo day this weekend.
On Saturday, December 4, shoppers are invited to get in their finest festive outfits and pose for a professional picture in front of our giant cracker, all for a good cause. In exchange for a donation to the centre’s Charity of the Year, Guide Dogs, each family will receive a professional photograph which will be sent via email within 72 hours of the event. The festive photography day will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm in Unit 8, next to Sports Direct.
We are very excited that, despite his busy schedule, jolly old Saint Nicholas will be here at Lakeside Village throughout December. Christmas isn’t complete without a visit to see Santa, so we hope our younger visitors will enjoy heading to the centre to see him, plus all our decorations and lights.
