Doncaster Rovers FC have gone into extra time with their deal with retail shopping centre Lakeside Village, who has extended their sponsorship package with the club at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The neighbours in the Lakeside area of Doncaster work together to make sure that customers of both organisations benefit from the partnership.
Di Rodgers, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We’ve got a longstanding relationship with Doncaster Rovers and we are proud to be extending this for another year.
“We know how important relationships are, particularly after the 14 months we’ve all experienced and we are looking forward to working with the club and to see them welcoming fans back to the ground soon.”
Having recently reopened Lakeside Village has seen almost 50,000 shoppers visit the site in the first week of reopening as lockdown restrictions were eased.
Customers returning to the centre were welcomed with discounts and offers from many of the big name stores including M&S, Next, Gap and Clarks.
Lakeside Village offers free parking and is a dog friendly site with several food and drink concessions as well as retail stores.
