New facilities management company appointed at Lakeside Village

Lakeside Village Shopping Outlet has appointed a new facilities management company to look after its security and cleaning services.
AM Services Group, based in Morecambe, won a competitive pitch, before the lockdown, to provide services to the Doncaster based shopping outlet for the next three years.
Lyndsey Parry, deputy centre manager said: “We are pleased to announce that AM Services Group have been appointed to provide all of the security and cleaning services for Lakeside Village. The group put forward a number of innovative ideas and solutions to improve on our current processes.  The AM team began work with us just before the lockdown and have done a fantastic job of looking keeping the site secure over the past few months. This was recognised by AM Services Group who named the Lakeside Village security team as their team of the month due to all of the hard work and dedication they have shown over the last few weeks.”
In addition to the security team, an eight strong cleaning team are working onsite to ensure that Lakeside Village maintain their exceptionally high cleaning standards and that the award-winning toilet areas and rest facilities continue to sparkle.
“The Guest Services team is made up of five officers who are responsible for the security and safety on site.
Lyndsey added: “We pride ourselves in our customer experience and following a significant refurbishment programme, that has seen more than £1m invested in the site, it is important for us to have the right team in place to ensure that our customers enjoy every element of visiting Lakeside Village.”
Lakeside Village has 45 famous name stores and concessions offering up to 60% off of men’s, women’s and children’s fashions and footwear plus gifts and homeware. The centre has 920 free parking places.
Social distancing measures have been introduced at the centre to ensure that staff and customers feel safe and comfortable being on site. These include additional hand sanitising stations, floor markings and queueing systems as well as a one way system to get around Lakeside Village.
