Kids can wrap up warm this winter thanks to Lakeside Village

With Autumn and Winter just around the corner thoughts are turning to wrapping up warm.

We might be lucky and get a few more weeks of sunshine but the temperatures are set to drop as the nights draw in.

This year Lakeside Village is on hand to help you keep your kids wrapped up warm whatever the weather.

With Autumn/ Winter kids wear ranges in Ben Sherman, whose children’s range is unique to outlets, Ministry of Design selling Jack and Jones and Lyle and Scott Junior ranges, M&S Outlet, with an expanded range of kids wear,  and our Gap and Clarks stores there is plenty to choose from.

The stylish ranges are modelled here by our young faces of Lakeside Village who won a competition to be our mini models for the season (as shown below).

Daisy, Luca, Harvey and Liberty had great fun choosing their outfits from the wide range of choices and modelling for a photoshoot at the centre.

Centre manger, Di Rogers said: “We think our mini models look fantastic, they are stylish and all look nice and warm ready for the Autumn/ Winter season.

“More importantly they all had a lot of fun visiting the centre and posing for our photographer for the day.

“We are thrilled to have grown the brand names now on offer for children at Lakeside Village as we always felt that this was a gap in our offer.

“Families can now enjoy not only picking up a sweater from Gap and shoes from Clarks but can grab a hoody from Jack and Jones and a jacket from Ben Sherman.

“The other great news for shoppers at Lakeside Village is that the Next Outlet is back with us and there is more space in the store dedicated to kids wear. We know how much our customers love Next clothes!

“We’ve proud to say that we’ve now got lots of great children’s clothing brands at the centre and it is fantastic to see local children modelling them.”

The centre also offers children’s outdoor wear at Trespass and Mountain Warehouse with everything from waterproof jackets and walking shoes to coats and thick socks.

“For lots of children this might be their first year of walking independently to senior school and having the right outer wear to protect them from the elements is so important. We all know what the great British weather is like for unexpected downpours of rain.

“Our centre is extremely family friendly, and we are looking forward to seeing more young people shopping at Lakeside Village with the families as they check out the new children’s fashion ranges available in many of our stores,” added Di.

Keep a look out on our Facebook page for details of our next Half Term fun activities, we’ll be launching our Halloween family fun events over the next few weeks and look forward to welcoming families to the centre for spookily pumpkin carving and lots of other interesting activities.

As well as offering plenty of choice, Lakeside Outlet Shopping also has 920 free parking places, a selection of places to enjoy a meal or drink, a play area for children and a series of special family events throughout the year.
