The weather’s warming up and what better way to enjoy the lighter, longer days than spending an evening watching a classic family film with your loved ones?
Here are our five top reasons why you’re sure to love our Summer Nights Cinema:
- The magical atmosphere
Watching a film in the open air, is an experience that can’t be beat. This is the third year we’ve hosted our Summer Nights Cinema evenings and, each year, we’re blown away by the response. The atmosphere is fun and simply magical, as the crowds immerse themselves in the movies we show. Bring along a chair (we provide limited seating) and a blanket, and snuggle up with your friends and family beneath the big screen.
- Room to sing and dance
Of course, another bonus of watching a film outdoors is that you’ve got room to sing and dance along to your favourite movie theme tunes.
If you want to get to your feet and have a boogie, feel free! Equally, younger audience members can stand up and move around easily if they’re feeling restless.
- Foodie fun
We all know the importance of a good snack supply when you’re watching a film, so you’re free to bring along a picnic or purchase refreshments from our onsite stores and cafes, including Greggs, Thorntons, Cadburys Outlet and Costa.
Please bear in mind, however, that alcohol is not permitted on site and will be confiscated.
- A spot of shopping
Many of our stores stay open until 8pm on Thursdays, meaning you can combine your Summer Nights Cinema trip with a spot of shopping.
Pick up a few summer holiday essentials while you’re here at the centre, and make a night of it!
