Lakeside Lawn Hosts Wimbledon weekend!

To celebrate the final of one of the World’s greatest tennis tournaments, Lakeside Village is hosting a giant screen to watch all the action on the Lakeside Lawn on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July 2017.
So not to miss a single shot, the big screen will be showing the live final matches from 11am with comfy deck chairs and blankets available making the lawn the ideal spot to hopefully cheer on GB and world number one Andy Murray! And no tennis match would be the same without a Pimms bar and strawberries and cream available to buy.
In addition, an exciting competition will see one lucky winner walk away with an official Wimbledon towel bundle courtesy of Christy’s, Wimbledon’s official towel supplier.
John Magee, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “An English summer isn’t an English summer without Wimbledon so we wanted to bring a touch of the excitement and nostalgia for the event to Doncaster!
“Our customers will be able to relax on our deck chairs and put their feet up with a glass of Pimms whilst eating strawberries and cream and watching all the action from the tournament’s final matches. We also have a great competition courtesy of Christy’s so we hope as many people will head down to Lakeside to enjoy the fun!”
